PATLINDSAY PINKY C. CATALLA hails from the 310 LA area and has moved to the beautiful suburbs of Houston, Texas.
With a spatula in one hand and whisk in the other, Pat/Pinky is ready to hit the streets with her delicious desserts. Fusing Pilipino flavors with classic western forms, she transforms traditional flavors such as ube (purple yam), pandan, mango, and halo halo into mainstream desserts. Pat/Pinky is persistent on pursuing her passions and hopes to open a Pilipino American contemporary bakery in the near future. "How near" you ask? Currently, you can find Pat/Pinky selling her goodies at festivals, in the lab concoting the next dessert, outreaching to high schoolers, singing on stage, and shaking hands with community leaders.
